This would help the students to better understand an abstract concept.
This project would be a good way to make math fun.
This would be a good way to integrate technology into math.

What is a tesselation?

Good job!

Good practice for the students
Looks interesting for the students.
I like the correlation with real life uses.

Can you make tessellations using different materials?
Would the students post to the web page themselves?

I think this is a project the students would enjoy. Perhaps they could look for examples of tessellations and bring them in to share.

3 C's: Interesting topic! Great, fun topic for math! Great incorporation of math and technology.
2 Q's: Could this plan be modified for different grade levels? Could the unit have a "catchy title'?
1 S: Maybe students could create their own snowflakes in winter using tessellations.

Awesome idea!
I admire you for teaching such a difficult subject...at least for me!
The Animoto was wonderful!!!

What are you using as assessments?
Will the students work together?

The students should put the drawings on Animoto.

Comments:
1. Great idea, your students are bound to enjoy geometry
2. Liked how you used animoto, very creative
3. Plan was very creative
Questions:
1.Would the students be able to create their own video?
2. How long did it take the students to complete the project?
Suggestion:
1. Maybe just work on questions

Your hands-on project is such a great way to reinforce math principles--makes math so much more interesting!
I like the idea of using digital pictures to share their projects with others.
Animoto was really cool!

What is the time frame from start to completion?
Could this be a group project/contest?

Curriculum framing questions will make the purpose more clear.
GREAT JOB!
